Our apartment is located in the district of "Centro Habana" (Havana center), only 5 minutes walk to the famous Malecon, 3 min to the Casa de la Musica (popular late-night spot). Within walking distance you will find many of the other major attractions of Havana  as the Prado, Central Park (Parque Central), Capitolio, Floredita, Bodeguita del Medio, the historic center (World Heritage) in the district of La Habana Vieja (span for Old Havana ) and Chinatown. From a cheap pizza to Cuba's most famous (private) restaurant everything is near by . At few meters from the vibrant  life of one of the main shopping streets of Havana  you can experience  Cuban daily life, if you like. As someone wrote on TripAdvisor "who has not seen centro Havana , has not seen Havana ."

Swimming and beach are within easy reach, the most beautiful beach of Havana (Playa de Este) but only by bus or Taxi. A pool on the roof of a nearby hotel provides cooling and  spectacular views of city and sea.
